about the jazz & blues folks?>
Speaking for myself, I play classical and jazz organ music, I would
definitely buy a MIDI pedalboard if I saw a good one, but I don't expect
that to happen any time soon. Most of the commercially available MIDI
pedalboards are a total joke when it comes to trying to play classical or
jazz music, roughly equivalent to trying to play piano music on a 37-note
controller.
I can understand the manufacturers' position, good pedalboards aren't cheap
and their market is not that large.
I'm getting ready to buy a kit to retrofit an old pedalboard from a
Wurlitzer 4700, for now, it's the only solution I know of.
