Excellent points, Bruce!! You are totally right. I
mean...let's get real. How many folks are on this
list? I would reckon that there aren't that many
Hammond clone geeks like us out there. We all have our
"weapon of choice", so to speak, and we will drool
over the new stuff...but drool doesn't pay the bills
for Korg, Roland, etc.

These are the salad days, boys. Put your Vk-7 or your
new CX-3 up against an old CX-3 or a VK-1000. It'll
make you realize how good we all have it these days!
And there are new and "better" things coming out this
year! But...that trend just cannot continue. There
simply aren't enough of us out there. There are way
more people who are perfectly happy with the
"Keyboards of the 60's, 70's and 80's" expansion board
for their Roland Xp-80 or whatever. They don't need
the "perfect C-3 chorus" or, perish the thought -
pedals! Pretty soon the big boys will get tired of
tweaking the organ tones and let it go at that. Enjoy
this while it lasts.

As for me, I think I'll hang onto my Vk-7 until the
bottom totally freakin' falls out of the clone market
and I can scoop up a Vk-8 or BX-3 from a "cut-out"
bin!
