Oh, easily. The SKB-style Gator Case that I sell for the CX-3 weighs 25 lbs in its cardboard shipping box (about 21 lbs. net), and that's a polyethylene case with aluminum trim. I'll bet an Anvil-style ATF case with steel corners and such for the BX-3 -- even a light-duty one -- will weigh 45-50 lbs. That makes almost 125 lbs. to lug around, even if the legs are left at home. That's fine, if you move your band in a truck, but 120-125 lbs. is in the range where you are going to take the corner of a door jamb, car fender, etc. some night when you're tired and half in the bag during the load-out. :^(

Does anybody remember roadies? ;^)

Regards,

-BW
