Hmm ...

The Roland website says that the sound of the VK-8 is taken from the VK-77 -- and implies that it's superior to the sound of the VK-7, unless I'm reading something into the description. Does anybody out there have access to both a VK-7 and a VK-77? Is the sound different between the two? If so in what way: basic tone? percussion? vibrato? orchestral voices?
