Subject:Is overdrive and reverb disabled when internal Leslie simulator is off?
I'm bombarding the board with CX-3 questions, but I guess they are
as on-topic as you can get with the group.
I was re-reading the Keyboard magazine review today and one of their
gripes was that if you turn the internal rotary sim off, you also
kill the overdrive and verb. Is this true or is there a workaround?
I use Motion Sound and a real Leslie, but do find some benefit in
producing some growl within the organ itself at times, and most
definitely reverb. The XK2's drive and verb are separate from its
lame rotary FX, so I have no problem there. I would be bummed if
the CX-3 can't provide these unless rotary is enabled. So I would
have dual Leslie simulation happening to get these FX.
Can anyone shed light on this issue?
Thanks,
Eric
