Subject:Re: Fender Vibratone?

All,

The Fender Vibratone was a re-labeled Leslie Model 18 -- 1-12" speaker (at least, mine had a 12" Jensen when I purchased it used), two speeds, Tolex covering. I owned one in the late 70's, and it was a pretty nice product. It didn't quite sound like a 122/147, though, because of the single rotor.

Regards,

-BW
