Subject:Fender Vibratone?

The name Fender Vibratone rings a bell, but I can't place it. Maybe I
owned one...

I started running my Farfisa Combo Compact (bass and organ) through a
friend's Dual Showman, while he also ran his guitar through it! Later
I played right hand through one or two Fender Bassman amps, and the
bass through one or two Dual Showman bottoms (with one top) - pretty
rockin' for those days.

Then I bought a Leslie (can't remember the model number) in about 1971
that was I believe after Fender purchased leslie - it was very small,
in a black tolex cabinet with a 10" speaker. Is this what the Fender
Vibratone was? Sure helped the sound of the Farfisa, but I blew the
10" pretty quick, and then I replaced it with a JBL D 110 - I remember
the back of the cabinet bulged out, as the JBL was deeper, but it sure
sounded a lot better.
