Invisible Stands went out of business in the mid-90's, and then made a
feeble comeback a year or so later with a substantially trimmed backed
product line (read: 1 stand). Originally the product line included a great
variety of stand accessories including MIDI/computer workstations, shelves
and rack accessories. It was, and still is great stuff. I have a pile of
Invisible accessories that I break out from time to time, depending on my
studio or gigging needs at that particular time.
Music Industries, the people who distribute QuikLok in the US, purchased all
the remaining Invisible stands a few years ago and made a stab at
distributing them. They eventually liquidated them all to Sam Ash, who in
turn sold them all. They are gone, gone gone...
I you can find one of the older ones, such as the one at Petosa, I encourage
you to buy it. They are worth $150.00. I have had KX88's A-90EX's and
numerous other keyboards on my Invisible, and it has performed flawlessly
for me. The stealth design is the sexiest look as well.
