Subject:Re: CX3 MIDI 2
Hi Eric/Bruce:
Well another idea is to get another MIDI control box, like a Phatt
Boy (Twiddly Bits) or Knobby (Encore Electronics I think) to give
you some more hardware controllers that you can map to the
MIDI functions you want. In additional to using all the pedal
inputs that we gave you, some other sliders or switches may be
what you're looking for.
I know it breaks the traditional interface of the organ, but it does
afford you the extra control you're looking for...
Since you are using the MIDI loop trick, you'll need a merger as
well.
Regards,
Jerry

CC# that you have defined to be expression, and it is always
either in parallel with the (foot) expression pedal input, or
disabled. It cannot be re-programmed to do anything else. You
could use the function for something else (Amp Gain?), but you
have to disable MIDI expression response to get there, which
seems like a bad idea to me.

another way to get at the wheel brake: Press Global, "8", and
then "-". You should see "Wheel Brake" on the display. Press
Write/Enter to engage the brake, and press it a second time to
cancel the effect.
