Subject:Re: XK2 tone

Hi,
I don't own a real Hammond so I can't check out, but I feel like the XK2(XB1/XM1) was sampled not using a B3 direct but via micing a (non rotating) Leslie or Hammond cabinet.
Thus the use of external Leslie makes an unbalanced sound. (I own a Rotosphere and a voce spin). Does this thought make sense?

Cheers,
Cai
