Good Setting;
Re CX3 + 145 Leslie w/ Hampton Tube preamp pedal
Try:
Preamp mode:
Treble +5
Mid -5/-10 (your taste)
Bass +5
I use this setting in my 145 Leslie to good effect
When I compare to My A100(same TG as B3) direct output
out to a mixer/speaker (talk about bright).
CX3 compared to the Hammond
The Hammond direct is brighter and has more bass than the
CX3 but it is also seems much more compressed (naturally)
and this setting is very close.
Aldo the Drawbar balance across the Keyboard is closer in Preamo mode than
Type 1/II (Basically more mids IMO)
Treble +10
Mid -10
Bass +10
Treble +5
Bass +5
And I also use a compressor (FMR Audio)
and I can duplicate the direct
Sound very closely.
In the end you have to use your ears.

BTW depending on which generation and the condition of your upstop felts
the Hammond aslo bounces. My A100 certainly does and the keyboard is in
good shape. I thought slapping was only for Bass players.
