I have several suggestions, I play in a rock band myself and use a GEM RealPiano Expander Module.
The Yamaha P-50m and Korg SGrack are good at cutting through as well.

need a good acoustic piano sound that will cut through an electric rock band,
and a good Fender Rhodes sound as well. I love the Rhodes on my Kurzweil
K2000 but don't particularly like the acoustic piano. Cheap and small ... any
recommendations?
