AHA!
There is indeed low latency in my computer.
Deke, the computer genius, got it humming yesterday and I'm down to
328 samples.??? Whatever that relates to in terms of MS is very
fast. I can't tell any delay and I had to fly to stay in the game
last night. So there were no hangups or jammed notes or static
garbage. and I was asking it to perform a lot of functions with
drawbar changes and vibrato and percussion being toggled on and off.
I like it. I'm sold.
I learned that I only have 64 megs of RAM!!!! Yikes.
It took a while to get 2000 up to take-off speed and it took a while
to get the B4 warmed up but after that it sailed.
I'm going to get a 256 stick today and I'll log in with the results
later.
We're getting there.
Now that I've got my clone rig about finished I guess it's time to
chop a B3. HA!!!
