Hey Kid,
Get a little more confidence there! If your gonna play the real deal
ya gotta have a little more balz. Just read this list. Most of us aren't
afraid to say it like we feel, right or wrong be damned. Sounds like you gave
up before you got an answer. As far as just being a "crazy kid," we depend on
you pups to keep em spinning when we're up there rocking with Jimi and Janis.
Hey, if you were here in San Diego I'd let you ride my C3 or my A100.
Probably set you up with my boy to jam. He cut his teeth on the old
masters..Hendrix, Clapton, Vai, and the likes. He's 17, plays an SG, and can
keep up with the best of my jamming buddies. So don't give up before you
start. I started playing The Beasts when I was about 14 years old. There was
a music store in downtown San Diego that had this little room on the third
floor that just barely had this old Hammond in it. You would put a quarter in
it and got 15 minutes of playing time. Man, if I had all the quarters I
pumped into that thing I could buy my own store! Really makes me shake my
head when I see kids today pumping quarters into those video games. Anyway,
keep at it and don't throw in the towel before you start. And to some of you
old farts in the Cleveland/Chattanooga, TN area...Give the kid a break!!!!!
OHF Bob

PS You might try asking around on the Hammond Zone site. Good bunch of guys
in there too.
