I use a Dell Latitude laptop at gigs... it sits nicely with a small mixer in
a DJ turntable case (2 spots for turntables and a center spot for the
crossfader, contents removed) As far as controlling the drawbars, check the
archives... many folks are using B4 live with various MIDI controllers to
change the drawbars in real time. I personally use the Evolution MK-361C
keyboard, but some may not like it's diving board keys... Evolution also
makes a 16 channel knob controller (same as my keyboard, minus the keys)
that could be used for this. Doepfer makes a "Pocket Fader" MIDI unit with
faders (or sliders), and a rotary knob unit by a similar name. There are a
lot of options out there, so look around.
>Does anyone know if the B4 works like a plugin in Logic?
Yes.
