Subject:Question for E-Mu B-3 Owners
I'm looking at adding an E-Mu B-3 module to my gigging setup. I would be
controlling the module with a Korg Trinity, and I have a question about the
Leslie speed switch. The E-Mu manual suggests mapping the volume control to
Controller #7 (Volume), which is no problem. But they suggest mapping the
Leslie speed control footswitch to Controller #64 (Rotating Speaker). I
thought Controller #64 is the sustain pedal. Am I wrong?
Interestingly, on the Trinity I map the sustain pedal to control the Leslie
speed. The Trinity has the nice feature of allowing the sustain pedal to
act as a push-on, push-off switch - one press for slow, another press for
fast. Does the E-Mu allow that, or does it require a true push-on, push-off
switch?
Thanks!
