Subject:I've been playing a C3 lately...

C3 with TrekII solid state preamp into H-S Leslie 122A. Not the
pinnacle of vintage tone...especially when the organ needs a filter
cap job, and probably some work on the ol' scanner. Still...there
was something about it that grabbed me.

We were recording with it today, but yesterday we used a Yamaha grand
in this same church for some songs. During the times I wasn't needed
in the sanctuary, I was off in the choir room wailing on the Hammond.

Still, tonight when I went down to the Vineyard to set up for service
tomorrow, I got onto my CX-3, and had a grand time. I've been
running a 10 band eq in there, cutting 1khz and above down a bit.
really helps out that top octave. Still waiting to have enough $$
for a speakeasy...
