Subject:Re: Korg CX-3 FAQ
Hey Melvin....
I've experienced absolutely NO note robbing, even when
using the piano, which I didn't dig. As for
midi-errors of any type, I can't speak to that as I
use it as a standalone unit; I bought the 73 so I
could split the keyboard when I needed two hands of
Hammond tone

Yes, it's ok: I use a Roland EV5.

I used my Speakeasy with the CX3, and it didn't fix
the problem: it made it sound better, but not "better
enough."

Yes, this is my only complaint...the drawbuttons are
not as inspiring for that as drawbars.

I have a V5 as well...and it does have a lot more bark
than my XK2 had, my CX3 or even than my
Electro...however...as an experiment I switched
between my Electro and V5 during 2 gigs where the
soundmen were actually b3 players themselves. And
while they both commented how great and REAL the
electro sounded to them, after I had made the switch
(unbeknownst to them) they both commented that it just
didn't sound as good as it did before...imagine their
surprise when I told them it was because they were
hearing something else. You'll be very happy with the
Electro I think. I have still kept my V5, but the
Electro is just such a hassle free solution to the
B3...
