Subject:Yearly NAMM Question!

Ho, oh, ho!

Does any of you know what's in for NAMM? Korg is well positionned
with their CX-3/BX-3 version 2, same with Nord.

There were some officials comments from Yamaha about organ modeling
technology R&D, but is there room for them in the market... (They
are also coming with a Motif Rack, with twice the power/effects, new
voices, ... but that's another story ;))

Voce will probably stick with the Key5, but I can't remember Dave
Amels' comments about this new beast..!

Roland... that name sounds familiar.. oh, yes.. they make those
cheesy Fantoms and the uncomprehensible VK-8... should we really
expect something from them...!!

So, unless there's a new player coming in, IMHO the market will
probably go unchanged for another 6 months! More money to buy gifts
for the wife, so she'll allow you to buy the CX-3/Nord version 3
next year...!

P.S. If you ever have the change to meet Dave Bristow (the guy who
voiced the DX7), he's an amazing guy!
