Subject:Re: What would you improve/solve in the B4 ?

This is a point of view from someone who doesn't already have the B4 & what
would be conducive to making them want to go that route.

First of all, from the posts so far there are certain things not in the B4 at
present that would make the non-B4er stay away, one of the foremost examples
being that the perc. switch doesn't work in conjunction w/ the 9th. drawbar.
That's a standard feature on pretty much every standalone clone.

Also to induce a keyboard-clone owner to make a switch there should be a
keyboard model, preferably both 1 & 2 manual versions. Some of us are not as
computer-savvy & a keyboard version would fit more w/ our modus operandi.
Multi-timbrality would be another requirement along with the ability to store
multiple setups as presets. A good accoustic piano would be another strong
need. The next item is just a personal need - for many people it wouldn't be
a requirement: but to have bass sounds, especially a good accoustic &
electric would be a strong selling point. Separate outs for the organ &
keyboard/bass sounds would be needed also along with the ability to give each
instrument it's own send/return to the effects section. With all these
features you would have an instrument that would cover the entire job without
need for other keyboards or modules. A good vibes sound would be nice too,
but that's just a little icing on the cake.
