Yes I can highly recommend this preamp for XK-2 I mainly use mine for a CX-3
but I do also have a XM-1 (module version of XK-2) for backup and it do
sound very good.
If you can afford go for the Classic/Howler option if not it depends of what
type of sound you like, Classic clean and fat, Howler you get growl and
grid.
No problem to get one to UK just email Steven at Speakeasy.

1) Can anyone recommend this for use with the XK-2? If so, which of
