Speakeasy preamp...I'd appreciate some input from
others regarding what works for you.
-I set the main volume on the back of the Lowpro to 8.
The bass I usually cut back a little below even.
-On the front of the Pro3t I set the tube gain at
between 10 & 11 o'clock. The main volume I set
straight up or just back slightly.
-The XK-2 goes at half volume.
-The Speakeasy preamp tone controls I set almost
straight up. The Volume is what I use to set my max
volume with. Usually somewhere around 2 o'clock, but
it varies room to room & on how loud I need to get for
my stage volume. I set my swell pedal full out &
adjust the volume to what I think sounds good while
holding a good full chord. After that I just use the
swell pedal & leave the rest to the soundboard for the
room. As always, YMMV.
