Subject:defining a clone

Hi---

There was a thread awhile back about what was & wasn't a clone, and
at that time it was decided that my Yamaha S80 was NOT considered a
clone, mostly because its primary purpose was not organ. I thought
that train of thought ridiculous at the time and still do. What
about the player that has a Nord Electro but uses the pianos and EP's
a lot more than the organs?

In my current band I use the S80 as my only board and play B-3 style
about half the time. And with an H&K Rotosphere the sound rivals at
least a VK-7, approaches an XK-2 but is not quite as good as a new CX-
3.

My conclusion would be that they're ALL clones--subjectively some
better than others...:)
