I owned its little sister, an original CX3. The thing worked great, but
sounded a bit thin, and yes indeed, the Leslie sim left much to be desired.
I can't speak to the Leslie, but I can tell you that I made the CX sound a
bit "fatter" by using an inexpensive guitar chorus stomp box. Get the
settings just right, and you won't know how you did without it. I learned
this trick from a former professional "clone player." The thicker sound also
serves to mask some of the sims deficiencies.
