I've been thinking about how to do a smaller, lighter 145 so it can be moved
easily.
My own experience in building instruments (guitar, bass, harpsichord, banjo)
is there is some resonance/filtering the wood contributes, but the stability
could be had at a much lower weight.
I'm sure John Fisher could speak with more experience here.
