This is kind of ironic, because I was going to send a reply post saying to
run it in mono instead of stereo. When I tried running the stereo outs of the
PRO3-T I thought it created an artificial type of "grind" to the sound. When
I yanked one cord out & ran mono it sounded more natural. I noticed this both
w/ the V5 & also when I was using a VK-77. Both amps were setting next to
each other however. With a large physical separation between the 2 it might
take the grind away if it's the phase shift of 2 speakers close to each other
that causes the effect. I'm definitely not going to try to claim "I'm right &
he's wrong". What works for one person in one set of circumstances might not
work for another person in different circumstances It just goes to show how
the "YMMV" caveat really applies to different situations.
