Mitch, even before the latest rev of firmware is released, you can "fix" the
quick note thang by turning local "off" and connecting MIDI out to MIDI in.
I happen to like the hot action myself. Perhaps getting the CX3 in addition
to the VK7 will take care of any concerns you have as work through/around
them.
If you're using pedals, the VK7 does make more sense for the lower manual
And you'd have something closer to the actual console organs, two sets of
drawbars for the upper manual and one set for the lower w/the preset being
the second you can switch between. One cool feature is you can get the
balance between upper and lower exactly to your liking.
Since the two organs (oscillators) are not locked (same generator) I wonder if the dreaded beating problem will occur, any one try this?
