Subject:Leslie Vs Motion Sound

I normally rum my CX3 thru a speakeasy pre amp into a Pro3T. I use a
KC300 for the bass. Last night i had the opportunity to plug into a
Leslie ProLine 860 and it sounded great. Now as i understand it, the
860 is a transistor Leslie, although i was using the Speakeasy in
front of it, so i was suprised at how much better it sounded over the
Pro3T.
My question is this.. would adding a Motion Sound Low Pro unit
achieve the same result? I new that something was missing from my
sound using just the Pro3T and as soon as i plugged into the Leslie i
could literally feel the difference. In theory, an MS rig should
sound much the same as an 860, the 860 being transistor (at least the
3T has a tube in it!). Has anybody out there in clone-land got any
opinions on the Low Pro or indeed has anybody made a comparison
between a full MS rig and a transistor Leslie like the 860?
I'm certainly not satisfied with the simulated bass rotor of the
Pro3T, not after last night anyway, so i need to decide whether to
look out for a ProLine like the 860 or get a Low Pro. A 122/147 is
out of the question purely on grounds of portability.
