I just got my CX-3 last week so I am in the same boat case-wise. BTW that
is the way the real B-3, and it's relatives, behave with regard to
percussion and therefore is supposed to be that way. It appears that Gator
makes a decent SKB-like case that will fit. It's model # GK-261R. I just
ordered one from Musicians Friend @ www.musiciansfriend.com today, as a
matter of fact. It's hard moleded plastic with in-line skate wheels -
light and more durable than the soft cases, but not nearly as heavy as the
anvil type cases. I've gotten spoiled with wheels on my SKB case for my 88
key K2600 which is quite a bit heavier than the CX3. Unfortunately SKB
doesn't make anything in a 61 note case that fits the depth. I can tell ya
that there are plenty of gigs where I can't park closed enough to the load
in area or stage. The wheels are a back saver!

Hi all. I just received my new CX3 v2 yesterday and need help with two
items. First, it seems to work ok except that I cannot make the
percussion work in drawbar 1. Perc works in db preset and db 2. Is
this the way its supposed to work? (Korg specialist is very quiet!).
Second, I thought I would be able to use a case that I already had but
because of the extra front to back dimension, I need to get another
case. Has anyone found a case that they like and would recommend? It
won't be flying as my gigs are all local, but probably want something
more than soft sided. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim
