As a bassist to converted clonewheel warrior over the past 5 to 7 years, I
don't think a month is enough time to woodshed on this very complicated and
very interesting instrument. I think a lifetime is more in order to be able
to play what you hear and not mess-up in the process :).

Realistically, however, I would suggest getting a master teacher of the
organ who can lay out for you some of what makes it work for them ...
thereby giving you some insights into what might make it work for you.

I did this with Ron Levy, who emailed me lessons (at a very reasonable
price) all about really learning the instrument ... not copying or learning
licks, but learning your way around the harmonizing nature organ (in all
keys, of course).

I am not sure, but he might be willing to do the same for others ... I think
you can reach him at ronaldlevy@attbi.com. Tell him I recommended you!

I can sure relate to the comment on this thread about practice and
discipline. For example, I should be practicing now rather than writing
this!
