I have just bought a second hand Motion-Sound Pro-3 [an early model
bought 1996 in USA]
I am trying to find some inspiration from reading some of the many
messages concerning this simulator..

I have the - almost - new - CX3, and it has been a good choise for me.
It has an eccellent chorus sound, and if there's a lot of stairs the
leslie-sim is just magnificent! No, it's very good actually.

But there are two things that I find annoying when I use the internal
Leslie:
When I play it through a Roland KC-500 it seems to be way too loud in
the bass notes and way to shrill in the highest drawbars. And if I use
the internal eq to compensate it seems to influence on the whole range
of tones. The overtone and leakage ajustments can add a little to
improve the sound but they tend to make the same noise both in strong
registrations as well as soft drawbar combinations. And that is not
pleasant when you practice with headphones.

So I have taken the step to try the MS Pro-3

There are some ajustment-pots inside - I have no knowledge of
electronics, so I don't know if pots have a "zero" position. But if
they have, I would like to hear if anybody have written down the
positions of theese pots

The diagram shows the pots 1-7 [my ajustments in "clock" numbers]

P1 FM modulation frequency center [7:30]
P2 left-right amplitude balance [7:00]
P3 Low Rotor Simulator fast speed [11:00]
P4 Low Rotor Simulator slow speed [8:30]
P5 Horn fast speed [11:30]
P6 Horn slow speed [9:00]
P7 Horn acceleration/deceleration rate [12:00]

There has been written much about the SpeakEasy preamp, but I don't
think it is accesible here in Scandinavia [Denmark]. So I wonder if
any of you who have experiences with the MS Pro-3 would recommend the
"Blue Tube" preamp from Presonus.
