Hi,
I too have run clones in parallel and into two Leslie sims too, or
run the E-mu B-3's Leslie patches in conjunction with V3's draws.
There's a fair bit of mileage in this as clones tend to have some
weakness or other which can be compensated for with a complementary
clone. This is OK at home or in a small studio in a semi-permanent
set-up, but would be too much of a pain to gig with I expect.
But sometimes it does pay to experiment. I run two Dynacord Leslie
sims together as I found that panning the stereo outs of one, biased
to the right, and the other biased to the left produces the stronger
effect which occurs by part-centering the stereo outs, but still
leaves a good stereo image.
