I don't think you'll want to do that! It will provide less of a Doppler/chorus/pulse effect, at twice the speed. It might sound OK on Chorale, but it should sound awful on Tremolo!

FWIW, Leslie sold "church" versions of a similar product in the 40's and 50's, to try to get a more accurate simulation of real pipe organ tremulant. In that case, however, the motor speed (or pulley size?) was changed to maintain a tremolo speed of around 6Hz.
