You've obviously never owned a Voce.

Jorge, you can buy a replacement adapter from Radio Shack. Just head over
to the wall wart section. I don't know the model number, but they sell a
12VAC 1A power supply as a replacement for (I think) an AT&T answering
machine. I've been running my V5 off this for almost two years with no
problems.
