Funny, my XK-2 played through my 122A sounds pretty much wonderful. A
little thin at the top and bassy at the bottom, but wonderful nonetheless.
I use it on fast frequently and I don't have a beating problem, near as I
can tell ... just lucky I guess. In fact, fast sounds so good, sometimes I
just let it spin through most of a song.

I switched from the XK-2 to the V5 and finally swapped up to the Nord
Electro. I have no regrets. The Nord action is superior for me. The chorus
is
very close to the real thing and the balance between low and high notes is
much better. I'm playing through a Fender Vibroverb with 2-10" speakers and
I
love the sound. The XK-2 was too heavy, too spongy feeling and the Leslie
simulator was awful. I never liked it through my 122 either. That weird
beating effect on Fast Leslie makes it unusable for me. I play a lot on
Fast.
