Mike:

The CX-3 is a dual-manual organ, it's just that it only has a
single keyboard. You can play the lower manual either by
splitting the built-in keyboard or thru a second midi board.
I was holding off for a BX-3, but got a CX-3 for 3 reasons:

1) I finally found one on display and wanted one after playing
it for about 10 seconds;
2) They gave me a shut-up price and I took it;
3) It has a complete second set of tone generators built in
for the lower manual.

I'd love to have a BX-3, but I don't regret for a second
getting the smaller cousin. Also, using a 5-octave synth
for the lower would give you a change to layer sounds or
put in strings (like the intro to "Everywhere").
