The VK-7 expects all sys-ex messages to include a check-sum.
I would check the following:
- that you are sending the correct message for FAST and the correct
message for SLOW. There will be two bytes that differ in these
messages - the data byte (either 0 or 1) and the check sum.
- that sys-ex receive is enabled on the VK-7
If you are still having problems, try using MIDI-OX to monitor the
output from the VK-7 and then copy the exact messages again into the
Triton.
