Subject:Clonewheel sound files on my new boogaloo website!

Hi All

I've just finished uploading my new Website with sound files at
www.blue-juice.org

Blue Juice is my Hammond funk/jazz/boogaloo trio, but the demo recordings on
the site were made with a VK7 running into a 222 with a 147 amp in it (are
you still with me?!).

I play left-hand bass on the recordings.

The recording doesn't do full justice to the rig - the whole thing was done
on the fly during a 3 hour rehearsal, and the mic used has somewhat
emphasised the thin-ness inherent in cetain areas of the VK-7's tonal
spectrum. That being said, I hope you'll enjoy the grooves we lay down,
which, after all, is the point of the exercise!

(For those with an interest, I created the mp3s by first editing my demo CD
with CoolEditPro, using the virtual 31-band graphic EQ, which has a nice
"U"-shaped preset to give smooth bass and cut out some of the harsher
midtones).

Best wishes to all on the list - and it's nice to see a small but vocal UK
contingent onboard.

Cheers

Ian Jackson
