Subject:Nord OS and Piano Sounds Update Delayed

I just got this from the Clavia site:

The release of the new Nord Electro e-piano sounds has been delayed
until the end of May 2002. The reason is that we will also release a
new operating 7system (V2.0) that will feature a vastly improved
sample playback engine as well as a number of new interesting
features. The new sample playback engine will drastically increase
the polyphony for the e-piano sounds. Also, by using digital modeling
to simulate the sounds you get when keys are released (like when the
damper touches the string on a piano), the Nord Electro e-pianos will
sound even more realistic than today.

Other features of OS V2.0 will be adjustable click level in the organ
section, "hard pan" of piano and organ sounds to separate outputs and
improved effects algorithms in the Effects section.

The new e-piano sounds and the new V2.0 OS will be free of charge
when downloaded from the Clavia web site!
