Both the VK and CX do add more 'noise' as more notes are played. The VK's leakage is more of a metallic kind of a whine while the CX's seems to add more high overtones to the pitch (like pulling out the 2 2/3' and 1' drawbars a bit). Both sound cool. The VK effect sounds more like the old B-3 that I used to play.
