In V3, you have to use a Midi Merge to control two manuals, the upper and
lower. I use Philip Rees Midi Merge. Midi Thru will not do it. In my rig,
I have constructed a switch that disables the lower manual, so I can run the
upper manual as a V3 and the lower as piano or effects layering. A quick
switch to re-connect the lower manual to V3 and I'm back to two manuals.
Sometimes I forget to volume down the effect/piano and I get the sources
mixed. But it works fast. Din jacks, a switch, a box, some velcro and some
time and you can be there.

Subject: [CWSG] 2nd Manual on V5
Hi everyone,
I'm familiar wih the V3 but not the V5.
Can a 2nd set of drawbars be easily used with the V5 to control the lower
manual
keyboard or lower split on a single keyboard ( while using only the V5 for a
sound generator)?
Thanks,
Dean
