Looks like the only fix is a MIDI mapping device.
The spirit of the Electro is great, but the "any color you want if it's
black" approach really starts to get in the way of any interfacing that
people seem to need here.
That's why I got the CX3 - it has so many bells & whistles, so many
parameters to tweek and it's well thought out. Controller assignments are
programmable. I'll say it again, for what it offers I think it's reasonably
priced.
Assuming it sounds as good as everyone says, I will probably pick one up
just to have a smaller (than my S80), lighter board that does most of the
sounds I need - but only one at a time. This would be great for
writing/arranging sessions, jamming, pickup gigs.
