This is the way the VK-7 works - where did they get this idea from ?
My speakers are wired to support fast-stop or fast-slow depending on
the position of the brake switch, but Roland switches off the brake
when fast is selected, which means two buttons to go from fast to
stop. You've made me think: I can feel another mod to the VK-7
coming along...
