p9 and p10 of the manual on your web site seems to explain what the
waveform looks like. I would assume it uses TTL levels and square
waves. You might have to do some prototyping but I assume that for
example if key 42 is pressed, the bit will be high in time-slot 42
etc. Should be straightforward to develop the PIC if you've done one
before. (I haven't). The other 4 bits need to be set depending on
footage groups.
