Similarly the VK-7 supports two modes for its pedal drawbars:

Combination: standard Hammond console pedal drawbar functionaility. Only 16' and 8' drawbars affect the sound and are the standard mixtures.

Individual: Pedal drawbar section is identical in tone and functionality to the manual which does not have percussion assigned to it (usually the lower manual although the VK-7 allows this to be switched which is useful if you want to put you 2nd manual on the top of the VK-7 rather than underneath it). It responds to all 9 drawbars.

In other words, the 3rd section called Pedal can either be used as a pedalboard or a 3rd manual with its own set of drawbars.
