I highly doubt it. If you listen to "Smokin'" you'll notice that the
tremelo is played for almost a full 4 count (roughly) before going up.

I don't know how a real Tonewheel organ responds....but I suspect the time
it takes for the pitch to go down....and then back up after power-on, is
much shorter. If he flicked the switch off and the flicked the switch
back on quickly.....the tone would probably immediately go up....as opposed
to holding for a 4 count and then rising. ???
