Subject:Re: VK-7 top octave shrillness
Well I compare my VK7 to the Voce V5 and found that no doubt that the V5
sounds closer to the B3 than the VK7. I also compare these two babies to a C3
. V5 takes top dog. IMHO the Vk7 is still a great instrument because I (
i'll say that again ) I like the sound when you use the chorus 3 with along
the fast leslie setting it gives me that thick swirling sound. : ) Plus the
Vk7 has other sounds in it besides organ and it get me through gigs that
might need strings or even piano and it also has a decent leslie simulator.
The downside with the v5 is that no keyboard and it takes time to set it up
with other controllers. Now if the V5 comes with a keyboard I for one will be
selling my vk 7. Mike W.
