FWIW here are the North American equivalents for
$5400AU for an Xk-2/CX3

EG; Xk-2 $1500US $3000AU
$2700CDN $3450AU
CX3 $2000US $4000AU
$2700CDN $3450AU

(these are average prices selling prices)

Of course there is shipping and Duty which might make up for the difference.
