Subject:Re: Hammond settings
The original presets - both standard and theatrical (H-100, X-77) are
at http://www.theatreorgans.com/hammond/paul.htm (scroll down about
half-way). There's also a "simple improvement" section, and a section
of presets more suitable for a liturgical church (I re-did the Hammond
at my church with these presets. The music minister was happy but
not happy - it sounded so good he said he'd never get an Allen now).
There are several pages of presets, including some of the ones you
mentioned, linked from
http://www.dairiki.org/HammondWiki/index.php?DrawbarRegistrations In
fact, if you have a "real Hammond" or Leslie you might want to nose
around HammondWiki a bit.
Some Gospel drawbars (typically V3 or C3, adjust Leslie speed to suit)
88 8000 000 (no percussion or 4-up)
88 8800 000 (no percussion or 4-up)
80 8808 008 (no percussion)
88 8000 008 (no percussion)
Note that Hammond consoles - and some clones, H/S in particular -
disable the 9th drawbar when percussion is active.
