Subject:Are pedals passe?

Dear folks,

I've noticed a vacuum when it comes to the discussion of pedals for clones,
and I'm wondering if that says something about the present and future
directions of organ manufacturing.

I write this because I am having a hell of a time getting an affordable set
of gigging midi pedals for the Korg CX3.

The two options (that I know of) are very expensive--nearly the cost of a
decent used Hammond with pedals, or a single-manual clone. I'm sure they are
hard to make, so the price isn't necessarily wrong. Still, the price is a
shock. Yet the stubby pedals I've been using can be played with heel-toe
technique only with GREAT difficulty, and I have just about had it with them.


So what say thee, about pedals for clones? Thanks.
